SAMI represents more than 80% of the world’s private maritime security companies from its base in London and his appointment is one of 10 new members elected to this prestigious maritime organization. Jaanus Rahumägi will represent Europe & Russia as one of three members from that region.

Speaking from ESC Global Security’s head office in Tallinn, Estonia, Jaanus Rahumägi understands the important work the Industry Steering Group plays for both SAMI and the whole industry.

The nature of global maritime security is changing as are the threats and issues. ESC will play a continuing part in the deployment of professional security guards on vessels in known high risk areas.
